Bonny Slope–April 2010 Market Results

Bonny Slope had a nice 13% sell through last month—with 76 active listings and 10 successful closings. At this rate, it will take over 7 months to sell through listings..if nothing else comes on the market. Portland’s inventory is at 6 months so Bonny Slope is lagging a bit. Prices were aggressive with a high of $485k down to $355k average.B Looks like some deals happened too as closing prices averaged 87.9% of the most recent list price.B Sellers are wise to remember that we’re continuing to be in a strong buyers market and buyers are more educated and savvy than ever. Solid Realtors pull comps and show history and those that are over priced, or languishing–stand out boldly. Best house at the best price is still the motto of this market, whether selling or buying.
