“For the Coffee Connoisseur who delights in a perfectly timed shot of espresso, prefers latte art in a ceramic cup, and loves the taste of freshly brewed coffee…………..” And my cappucino via Caffe Vita Roasters in Seattle at Manhattan Cafe was all that! First of all–wonderful coffee, just a tad sweet and in this great open space environment–lots of room, great tables, New York City art on the walls–thoroughly enjoyable!
Recommended by a friend, Manhattan Cafe is a wonderful find right at the edge of Grant Park Neighborhood. Angela Snow–while a native Portlander, jumped to NYCB 10 years ago and joined the American Ballet Theater with whom she danced for the ensuing 7 years.B “Something as compelling to move me to NYC from Portland–had to work to get me from NYC back to Portland.”B Already celebrating three years of business–Angela is passionate about her space being used for fund raisers, evening events, musicians and of course–there is always room for local artists.
Found on Facebook & Twitter, owner Angela SnowB is very connected to the community and wants her cafe to be ‘coffee on purpose’…read more about her mission and vision statement on her website–if it’s not there yet, it’s coming–I’ve read it.B Fantastic coffee and great nibbles as well–if you need a place to have a meeting or a small group gathering, this is it! 2735 NE Broadway is her location on the North side of the street. Tell Angela that I sent you!
