Random Order Coffeehouse in the Alberta Neighborhood is anything but Random.B Delectible, creative, made-from-scratch-deliciousness yes….random…no.B A new friend of mine, Deborah and I met here today for lunch (and coffee–always), I ran into the wonderful Julie Brush N.D. (my shameless plug for the best Naturopath ever) and met wonderful Baristas Molly, Jeff & Claire.B Just another Friday in this relaxed, revolving door, constant line, wonderful neighborhood spot.
Tracy Olsen began her exploding pie empire five years ago, layering StumptownB coffee with fruit, cream and savory pies (try the deep dish pork savory pie–it’s delish), muffins, cookies and other sweets. Jeff’s favorite is the pistachio cardamom brownie, Molly loves the strawberry rhubarb pie….and as always, I’m partial to anything with poppy-seeds–their gluten-free poppy-seed muffin did not disappoint.
While everything is made from scratch on the premises with local and organic products whenever possible, they do hope to expand the kitchen soon which works for me.
