Staging Your Home to Sell Your Home

Staging Works–See How Re-Arranging Rooms Adds Value

Bathroom 1

If you are like me, my home never looked better than when I was selling it. I’d never hosed off the house, demossed the roof, de-cluttered the insides, or cared what my basement floor looked like.B Until the month before I put it on the market.
When you are serious about selling your home inB today’s market, you’ve got toB think and act like today’s buyer. B Today’s buyer wants a turn-key home. They find it online. They love the pictures. They tour the home. They buy it. They put the key in the door. They open it. They move in. There is not a checklist of things to be done, repaired, spackled, fixed, replaced. It’s ready. Boom. Done deal.
I LOVEB presenting and marketing my seller’s home professionally to the market. One of my secret weapons is having my stager meet with my sellers once they have decided to move forward.B Justin will do a walk through with myself and the sellers with a punch list of items that need to be taken care of (or conversely, don’t need to be done) before the re-arrange is scheduled.B He then returns to re-arrange the current configuration with furniture my clients already own–B to freshen and revitalize the home. Once this is done, the home is professionally photographed and the marketing can begin.B
Here are the before and after pictures of a project we just completed this week!
