Not many things ring my bell like reclaimed space that welcomes the community. Add coffee to it and I can’t stay away! Take TaborSpace up in the historic Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in SE. (SE 55th & Belmont) Totally non-profit, run by volunteers (an an incredible espresso machine) and vaunting a ‘suggested donation’ for each item, this new hang-out actually has actualB SPACE! B Big chairs, plenty of tables, stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings! And did i mention wifi?B It’s a perfect spot to have a small group meet up–in fact their websiteB welcomes and encourages community use of their space!B They proudlyB serve Riststretto Roasters & Tao of TeaB (BOTH local small business–I love local small business!)..in addition to yummyB in-house baked goodies! I’ll be checking their events page….and I will be back!
